These puppies are a small breed and therefore the Buyer understands that extra attention and care may be required in order for them to thrive and avoid conditions such as hypoglycemia or dehydration.Seller *Sweet Southern Yorkies (Kristi Ozanich/TN or Melanie Coe/VA) hereafter referred to as Seller.Section 1 *Seller has made every effort to deliver the puppy to Buyer in a normal and healthy condition. Prior to being delivered the puppy will be issued a health exam by Sellers DVM. Buyer must have the puppy examined by a certified Veterinarian within 3-5 business days of receipt of A copy of the veterinarian report must be mailed or emailed to Seller. Failure to do so VOIDS any warranty.Section 2 *Seller warrants the puppy for a congenital life threatening, non-treatable condition only. Congenital defects of the heart, liver and kidneys are included. Luxating patellas, collapsing trachea and other defects that can occur by injury are not covered. This guarantee/warranty is valid only until the puppy turns 1 (one) year of age. A certified letter must come from TWO examining certified veterinarians/DVM stating his/her findings and diagnosis. Complete DVM contact information must be supplied for verification. Seller will replace the puppy if it dies due to the congenital problems if the following conditions are met. Buyer must have a necropsy performed and a lab report made to determine that the cause of death was of a congenital nature by the Sellers veterinarian of choice within 24 hours of death. Seller may have the puppy checked at the Sellers vet if needed at Buyers expense. Under no circumstances will there be a cash refund. If exchange is necessary SELLER will select a comparable replacement puppy when one becomes available. If living, the original puppy must be returned to the Seller at Buyers expense before a replacement puppy will be honored. If Buyer chooses to keep puppy after diagnosis, all related expenses are the responsibility of the Buyer. If it is found that the puppy was abused in any way this guarantee is VOID.Section 3 *Seller is not responsible for any puppy death due to hypoglycemia, dehydration, parasites or any other illness that could have been prevented by Buyer.Section 4 *Under no circumstances will Seller be held Responsible for any Veterinary or other expenses for any reason whatsoever after purchase of puppy. Seller is not responsible for any expenses resulting from actions of puppy.Section 5 *When the puppy leaves the care of the Seller, it becomes the sole responsibility of the Buyer. No other warranties are expressed or implied.Section 6 *If Buyer can no longer care for puppy, Buyer agrees to contact the seller to help find the puppy another suitable home. If it is necessary for the puppy to be returned to the seller buyer must return puppy to seller at buyer’s expense. When another home is found for the puppy the seller will give to the buyer the rehome amount less any vet and care expenses. Buyer agrees under no circumstance is the puppy to be placed in a pound, Humane Society or any facility that practices euthanasia or experimentation on animals. If puppy is sold with breeding rights those rights are not transferrable to another person unless seller gives permission.Section 7 *Buyer agrees to keep Seller updated throughout the remainder of puppy’s life. You are now part of our Sweet Southern Yorkies family and we love to see updates on our babies.Section 8 *All holding fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and applies to the full purchase price of puppy. Holding fee payment options are available through cash, Venmo or Zelle (any surcharges paid by the buyer). Buyer agrees to NEVER under any circumstances dispute charges to receive a refund of money. Buyer understands they are buying a live animal and that all money is non-refundable.Section 9 *If puppy is being purchased as pet only/limited AKC, the buyer must agree to have the dog spayed/neutered by 9 (nine) months of age or another timeframe advised by vet. Email proof of spay/neuter to ssyorkies3@gmail.com. Once proof of spay/neuter is received Limited AKC paperwork will be supplied. Failure to do so VOIDS any warranty. If other arrangements are made it must be in written form and signed by both parties.Section 10 *Although vaccinations guard against parvo, distemper, adenovirus, parainfluenza and kennel cough, no guarantee is given against these diseases due to their unpredictable nature. To prevent your puppy from contracting these diseases, please follow through with ALL vaccinations and never take your puppy to public places or allow outside on ground before ALL vaccines are administered AND after a 2 week waiting period. Do not give multiple shots on the same day; example DAPPV and rabies. Do not give Lepto vaccination to puppy. Any reaction to vaccination is not covered under warranty. When puppy is older and if buyer chooses to give the lepto vaccine give it in a single shot that is lepto only.Section 11 *We do not guarantee color, adult size, ears standing, conformation, show quality, coat quality, potty training ability, or the temperament/disposition of the puppy. This guarantee does not cover common conditions such as, but not limited to bite, coat, umbilical hernia, trachea problems, low blood sugar(hypoglycemia), internal and external parasites, luxating patella, minor physical flaws, loose stools, coccidia or any condition that can be attributed to environmental factors and/or corrected with veterinarian treatment.Section 12 *Should any problems or legal disputes arise, Buyer agrees to first contact Seller to solve any problems or disputes. Buyer agrees to NOT take any problems/disputes to social media. Buyer agrees that should legal disputes arise, they will be handled in city/state where the Seller resides.Section 13 *This agreement/warranty is valid only until the puppy turns 1 (one) year of age and cannot be transferred to a third party.Section 14 *Seller reserves the right to cancel sale at any time for any reason. In the event this is necessary a refund of holding fee will be given to buyer.Section 15 *This represents the entire agreement between the Seller and the Buyer.Section 16 *PET ONLY is a classification set by the breeder indicating that the puppy will not be used for breeding in the future. Puppy will be in a loving home as a pet only. Registration is not needed for pet only puppy purchases. GENETIC DEFECT any condition which is widely held by the veterinary profession to be hereditary in nature. Exceptions are patellar luxation or tracheal collapse because of environmental contributing factors. TRANSITION To help reduce signs of stress feed puppy identical food that Seller provided and offer bottled water as well as taking reasonable measures to reduce stress. We advise against long periods of rough play and extended periods of crying. Slowly introduce puppy to household, and limit time they are with strangers and other animals.
